Pilgrims perform Friday prayers at the Holy Mosque 4 Makkah

For its part, Secretariat of the Holy City has implemented varied
works of cleaning, environmental purification, control of markets and
transferring of the waste, particularly out of the central region of
the Holy City.

A well-organized system of traffic has been undertaken by the
Traffic Department of the Holy City in serving the pilgrims with the
deployment of a large numbers of officers and personnel at all public
squares, districts and quarters of the holy city to control, organize
and prevent parking in its central area where there is no parking.

In addition, the Traffic Department of the Holy city has prevented
the entry of vehicles during times of prayers and separated the
traffic of vehicles from that of the pedestrians, so that the
righteous (faithful) can perform all their rituals easily.

Traffic has been characterized by flexibility and ease as
there have been almost no traffic jams despite the huge crowds and
the presence of a large number of vehicles in the Holy City.
