Saudi Arabian Airlines to fly 500,000 pilgrims

Jeddah, December 13, SPA -- Saudi Arabian Airlines will fly about
500,000 pilgrims back home, Khaled Al-Mulhim, Director General of the
national carrier, has said.


Sami Badr, Director of the Hajj Terminal at Jeddah’s King Abdul Aziz
Airport, told the Jeddah-based Arabic newspaper "OKAZ" that there was
coordination between the Civil Aviation Authority and the Hajj
Ministry to bring pilgrims to the airport seven hours prior to the
departure time of their flights.


He added that offices have been set up at Makkah entry points to
organize the departure process.
