Oil Minister launches gas tanker "Seri Balhaf"

NAGASAKI, Dec. 15 (Saba)- Minister of Oil and Minerals Emir
al-Aidrus launched on Monday operating the gas tanker " Seri
Balhaf", Japanese Mitsubishi Company has made for the Yemen
Liquefied Natural Gas Company or YLNG.

The company has started manufacturing the tanker on February 2007
and can carry 155 thousands cubic meters. The tanker is considered
the third one within a fleet of the YLNG that is due to receive a
forth one next March 2009.

Worth to mention that the Yemeni Company for Liquefied Natural Gas
is constructing a strategic project with the capital exceeds
$ 3.5 billions for producing and exporting natural liquefied
gas to a number of foreign countries.
