GS Engineering wins US$175 mln order in Vietnam
SEOUL, Dec. 16 (Yonhap) -- GS Engineering & Construction Co., South Korea's second largest builder by sales, said Tuesday that it has won a US$175 million order to build an expressway in northern Vietnam.
Under the deal with Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Finance Investment, GS
Engineering will build a 9.3-kilometer section of a 105.5-kilometer expressway
between January 2009 and October 2011.
The expressway links Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam with Haiphong, a port city 100
kilometer east of Hanoi.
