MORE THAN 173,000 PILGRIMS ARRIVE IN MADINAH
Madinah, Dec 17, SPA -- 173,027 pilgrims arrived in Madianh up to
yesterday from Makkah, while the number of pilgrims leaving the city
up to yesterday amounted to 36559, according to a report released by
the secretariat of the Hajj committee here.
The pilgrims included 20984 Iranians, 13726 Egyptians, and 12588
Syrians.
The report noted that 45 flights were operated from Prince Mohammed
bin Abdulaziz International Airport yesterday carrying 9591 pilgrims.
