BAKU HOSTS CONCERT DEVOTED TO AZERBAIJANI-JAPANESE FRIENDSHIP
Baku, 17 December,(AzerTAj) - Baku Music Academy hosted a concert on Tuesday as a token of friendship between Azerbaijan and Japan. Rector of the Academy, Professor Farkhad Badalbeyli said the concert was organized within the framework of the Japanese Government’s Grassroots Grant Assistance Program.
As part of this program, the government of Japan has provided Baku Music Academy with four pianos, Mr. Badalbeyli said.
The concert featured pieces of music by Japanese composers, performed by students of
the Academy. Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan H.E. Masamitsu Oki was also present
at the event.
