Rental apartments to be erected

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet at its session on Monday assigned the Minister of Construction and Urban Development D.Tsogtbaatar to organize a construction of 1,300 rental apartments. They will be dedicated to low- and medium-income families. The Minister of Finance J.Erdenebat was obligated to reflect the financing required in the state budgets for 2016, 2017 and 2018 years. In order to implement the "Rental apartments" program, the cabinet intends to commission 800-apartment housing districts in Ulaanbaatar, and other rental housing districts with 60 or more apartments in aimags' centers, on the basis of public-private partnership (PPP). Estimations of expenditure revival for building 1,300 apartments are based on an assumption that the monthly payment will be equal to 22.5 percent of the average household income. The program will facilitate the families to rent the shelter for a long time. It has been expected also that the air and soil pollution will reduce.
