JAKARTA GETS NEW POLICE CHIEF
Jakarta, Dec 18m (ANTARA) - The post of Jakarta Police chief was transfered from Inp Gen Adang Firman to Insp Gen Wahyono at a function led by National Police Chief Gen Bambang Hendarso Danuri here on Thursday.
Wahyono was previously a lecturer at the Police Leadership and Staff School while Firman has reached mandatory retirement age.
Besides that of the Jakarta Police, the post of North Maluku Police chief was also handed over on the occasion from Brig Gen Mustofa to Brig Gen Fajar Prihantoro.
Mostafa will assume the post of General Logistics Bureau chief at the National Police Headquarters. Fajar was previously deputy police chief of Nangroe Aceh Darussalam province.
