Czech President receives UAE Minister of Economy

PRAGUE, 22nd April, 2015 (WAM) -- Milos Zeman, President of the Czech Republic, yesterday received Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy, and Chairman of the UAE Economic and Trade Mission, who is currently on a visit to the Czech Republic. Al Mansouri conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the Czech President, and good wishes to the Czech Republic and its friendly people for their further progress and prosperity. The Czech President welcomed Sultan Al Mansouri and his accompanying delegation, stressing his country's keenness to develop its relations with the UAE in all areas, especially in the economic and commercial fields. Mr Zeman also said that his country looks in admiration and appreciation at the UAE's achievements in development and renaissance which have taken place during a relatively short period of time, which, he said, reflects the right vision of the UAE leadership towards the future, by building a model modern state which enjoys a prestigious position at regional and global levels. The President referred to his last visit to the UAE in February, and to holding important talks with senior UAE officials, led by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, on the side-lines of the UAE and Czech Business Forum in Abu Dhabi, saying that the presence and participation of a large number of officials, businessmen and investors of the two countries formed an important platform for the exchange of ideas, insights and suggestions on how to improve trade and investment relations between the two nations. – Emirates News Agency, WAM – http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395279546695.html
