BDF Chief congratulates Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad

Manama, Apr.30 (BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, West Asian Athletics Federation President, Head of Bahrain Athletics Association His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa on the Kingdom's winning the 19th Arab Athletics Championship. He hailed the pan-Arab achievement which, he said, reflects Bahrain's remarkable athletics strides in the Arab, Asian and international arenas.He also paid tribute to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for his support to athletics, hailing Bahrain's landmark achievements ever since he took over as BAA Chairman.
