Mansour bin Zayed confers Medal of Independence upon Chairman of UAE-Japan Friendship Society

H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, yesterday conferred upon Keiichiro Okabe, chairman of the UAE-Japan Friendship Society, the Medal of Independence of the Third Order. The gesture comes in recognition of his efforts to enhance the friendship between the two friendly peoples. Sheikh Mansour received Okabe yesterday in his office in the Presidential Palace. During the meeting, they discussed ways to boost bilateral relations. Sheikh Mansour praised the level of relations between the UAE and Japan in various fields, especially in the economic and cultural domains. He also highlighted the role played by Okabe to strengthen the Society's programmes and extend bridges of cooperation, and exchange in fields of joint interests.
