Energy Minister welcomes cooperation with Saudi firms

Manama, May 10 (BNA): Minister of Energy Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received the director general of Al-Zahid Holding and the board of directors chairman of Al-Fozan Holding (Saudi-based) companies and businessman Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Dossary. The meeting explored potential investment opportunities in the fields of electricity, solar energy and oil fields drilling. The minister welcomed the opening of vistas of cooperation with brethren in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting the importance of investment in all areas in view of the Kingdom of Bahrain's facilitations to investors under the leadership of His Majesty the King. The Saudi corporate officials expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the minister and energy sector officials for the good reception and the provision of all possible support for the companies to contribute in energy projects. The meeting was attended by the Energy Minister's Advisor for Technical and Engineering Affairs, Dr. Abdul Majeed Habib AbdulKareem.
