IEF Chief highlights importance of Jeddah and London Energy
London, December 20, SPA -- Underlining the importance of the
meetings of Jeddah and London on energy, Secretary General of the
Riyadh-based International Energy Forum (IEF) said there is a growing
unanimity to confront the fluctuation of oil prices.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) at the end of the London
Energy meeting last night, Noah Fan-Hols said that both meetings of
Jeddah and London were of a vital importance due to the extraordinary
circumstances facing the world.
This is the suitable time for focusing on the next ministerial
meeting for energy forum which will be held in Mexico in 2010, he
said.
He added that there is an international unanimity to the importance
of facing the fluctuations of prices.
"Transference on information pertaining to the situation in the
market as regards supplies and demands will help in confronting the
prices fluctuations, he noted.
According to a report prepared by Cambridge group for energy
research on the impact of the world financial crisis on the oil
