TS.MONKHZAYA BECOMES ASIAN CHAMPION IN JUDO

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An international master of sports Ts.Monkhzaya won a gold medal on the first day of the 2015 Asian Judo Championship, which kicked off Wednesday in Kuwait. Despite an injured left shoulder, she captured "gold" in -63kg division by defeating Japanese Nishikawa Maho. The same day, a State Honored Sportswoman and World champion M.Urantsetseg and a State Honored Sportswoman M.Bundmaa won silver medals each in the women’s 48kg and 52kg categories. Bronze medals went to D.Tomorkhuleg (men’s 66kg) and G.Odbayar (men’s 73kg). As the team result after the first day, the Mongolian national team is the third, following Japan and South Korea.
