OPEC Secretary General speaks on outcome of London Energy

Al-Badri said he was not happy when the oil prices jumped to more
than$145 last July and he is also unhappy now for the prices which
declined to about $40.


"The suitable price is the price which ranges between $80 and $90
for a barrel, " he said.


Al-Badri criticized the idea of raising the oil tax, and said
nothing can justify such a development.


He requested the concerned countries not to exploit the situation
being faced by oil prices so as to avoid the phenomenon of a sharp
decline in the prices.


He added that the oil producing countries invest in the field of
training and human development and their national companies invest in
the field of production and refinery and developing the human
resources.
