Saudi Arabia urges care for Arab political issues at Vienna

SPA - The Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs said "We also look forward to political issues that are of interest to our region to receive due care, attention and follow-up, in particular the
Palestinian cause as it is the core issue which is the starting point
to resolve the many problems of the region.

"This can not be obtained without a just and comprehensive solution
leading to peace, security and stability we all aspire. We are all
aware of the extent to which the Arab side was committed in the
emphasis on building a strategic choice of peace as an irreversible
goal which the Arab initiative reaffirmed without doubt or
hesitation," he said.


He stressed the importance of determining what brings people
together such as values and common principles which are the basis of
relations and understanding between nations. "We must work together
to advance the process of dialogue, knowledge and understanding
between our cultures, not in order to reach homogeneity or identical
views, it might not be that is accessible or available, but in order
to identify what unites us of values and common principles, to make
a basis for relations between our nations, understanding between our
peoples and interaction between our institutions, Therefore it is
necessary to have a clear and precise rules for the dialogue between
our cultures and societies through cooperation between cultural,
educational and different information institutions, which are devoted
to values and ethical principles that form common denominators among
us in order to promote stability and prosperity for our peoples and
societies.
