Prince Turki bin Nasser Visits Al-Azhar University

Cairo, December 21, SPA -- Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz,
General President of Meteorology and Environment Protection and
President of Executive Bureau of Arab Ministerial Council of
Environment paid here on Saturday a visit to Egyptian Al-Azhar
University and met with the University's Rector, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb
and the President of Arab Union for Youth and Environment Dr. Magdi
Allam.


Prince Turki bin Nasser planted the first tree of afforestation
project of Al-Azhar University, named after him.


Then, the Prince patronized the activities of Arab Environmental
Camp for Protection of Nature, organized by the Arab Union for Youth
and Environment in collaboration with the Islamic, Educational,
Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).


Speaking on the occasion, Prince Turki expressed his pleasure
over attending the Camp's activities and commended the efforts of
Al-Azhar in environmental volunteering works.
