Crown Prince meets UK Prime Minister

London, May 22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, has met The Rt Hon David Cameron MP, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, at 10 Downing Street in London. His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Prime Minister and extended His Majesty’s congratulations on a vibrant election, wishing the United Kingdom further prosperity and development. His Royal Highness then highlighted the long-standing ties between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, noting the strength of ongoing cooperation and coordination between the two counties on various strategic issues. His Royal Highness went on to highlight His Majesty’s recent visit to the United Kingdom as a demonstration of the strategic and historic bilateral relationship. His Royal Highness concluded by highlighting the role of the United Kingdom's government in further developing bilateral ties across a range of sectors between Bahrain and the UK, and supporting the strategic goals and interests of both counties.
