Kuala Lumpur, Dec 22 (ANTARA) - The Malaysian immigration office here is holding 85 Indonesian migrant workers (TKIs) for not having proper immigration documents, Mohd Hider Yusoff of the immigration office said.

He said that the Indonesian migrant workers were arrested during a joint operation conducted by immigration officials and the 'rela' security officers on the 'Tanah Melayu' train (KTM) on Sunday.

During the operation, a total of 117 foreigners, including the 85 Indonesians, who had no proper documents were netted. Other arrested nationals came from Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nigeria, China and Nepal.

Before they are brought before the court, all the detainees will be put into the cells of the Langkap prison in Perak and of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the Malaysian media reports said.
