SABIC Center for Plastic Application Development/ MoU

Riyadh, Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and Saudi Basic
Industries Company SABIC in addition to King Saud University signed
here today a memorandum of Understanding to establish SABIC Center
for Plastic Applications Development at the main lobby of KSU.

The Center aims to be established at KSU's Riyadh Valley of
Technology in an area of one hundred thousand square meters, at a
cost of (375) million Saudi riyals to develop specialized and
advanced plastic applications, covering the areas of industrial
development based on the national Industrial Cluster Development
program , such as automative, tires and accessories, electronics
industries and household appliances, fiber and packaging materials,
pipes and accessories and medical supplies resulting from the mixing
of different polymers to serve industries and customers in the
Kingdom and all the nations of the world with access to SABIC
products .
