Prince Nawaf bin Faisal meets Governor of Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Dec 25, SPA -- Governor of Rio de Janeiro
state Sirjeo de Olivera Cabrao received here today Prince Nawaf bin
Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Vice-president of Saudi Youth
Welfare and deputy head of the Saudi Arabian Olympic committee, who
is currently visiting Brazil.


Speaking on the occasion, the governor of Rio de janier highlighted
the existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and
Brazil in all domains, notably in the sports domain.


On his part, Prince Nawaf lauded the growing Saudi-Brazilian
relations and said his talks with the Brazilian sports officials were
fruitful.

Meanwhile, Prince Nawaf received here today head of the Brazilian
Olympic committee Carlos Arthur Nozman.


They reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Saudi and Brazilian
Olympic committees.


Prince Nawaf said he has felt the keenness of the Brazilian Olympic
committee on further cementing cooperation and coordination.


He pointed out that the two sides have agreed to form a joint
working team to set up the framework of cooperation through an
agreement.


Prince Nawaf has extended an invitation to the head of the Brazilian
Olympic committee to visit the Kingdom and sign the agreement after
coordination.
