Jordanian Catholic priest praises UAE for enacting anti-discriminatory law

AMMAN, 23rd July 2015 (WAM) --- Director of the Catholic Centre for Studies and Media has praised the UAE for enacting a new law criminalising all forms of discrimination on the grounds of religion, caste, creed, doctrine, race, colour or ethnic origin. During a meeting with Ambassador of the UAE to Jordan, Bilal Rabea' Al Bodour, Father Rifat Bader said that it is to the credit of the wise Emirati leadership, government and people, that this "civilisational move" was made to reflect the country's spirit of love and wisdom and collective consciousness aiming to protect life. The two sides discussed the excellent relations between the UAE and Jordan where and fraternity and peaceful coexistence and fraternity prevails among the followers of different faiths.
