LUBUKLINGGAU ADMINISTRATION TO OPTIMIZE TOURISM SITES

Lubuklinggau, N Sumatra, Dec 26 (ANTARA) - The city administration of Lubuklinggau is to optimize the management of its three tourism sites namely Temam waterfall, Watervang dam, and Sulap hills, in line with with the ratification of regional regulation on the sites by the regional legislative assembly (DPRD) last month.

Head of Lubuklinggau tourism office Riswan Effendi said here Friday that one of the sites to be developed, Sulap hills is located in the Kerinci Seblat National Park.
"We will coordinate with the national park's management to discuss tourism development," he said.
According to Effendi all this time most people had spent their holidays outside the region such as Bengkulu. However by having tourism destinations, the people could enjoy their vacation here.
