Bahrain condemns terrorist bombing in North Sinai

Manama, Aug. 9 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on an armored vehicle in the northern Sinai town of El Arish in Egypt which resulted in killing and wounding a number of police officers. The Foreign Ministry deplored such cowardly actionst hat are contrary to moral and human values and divine religions. The ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, and the wished the injured speedy recovery, stressing the Kingdom’s support to Egypt in the fight against terrorism and extremist ideas and its efforts to establish security and stability at home and in the region. The Foreign Ministry reiterated the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in renouncing violence and terrorism in all its forms, whatever its motives and justifications, and supporting all regional and international efforts to defeat terrorism and rid the world of its growing dangers.
