Envoy speaks on Saudi Medical Assistance for Palestinians

Cairo, December 28, SPA -- Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Hisham
Moheiuddin Nazer said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques,
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has ordered the concerned
authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide immediate
medical assistance for Palestinians who are victims of Israel's
aggression in Gaza Strip on Saturday

The King's order has directed Saudi public and private hospitals to
receive and treat the wounded Palestinians and to carry the injured
wishing to be treated in the Kingdom on board Saudi medical
evacuation aircraft.


In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in Cairo on Saturday
evening, the Ambassador pointed out that the first plane loaded with
medicines and other assistance will arrive at Al-Arish Airport on
Sunday, noting that officials from the Saudi embassy will receive and
hand it over to the Egyptian Red Crescent.


He affirmed that there is a complete coordination between the
Saudi Embassy in Cairo and Palestinian and Egyptian authorities for
the success of this process.
