Oman's Deputy Prime Minister wishes success to GCC Summit 2

“The GCC success in facing challenges and events witnessed by the
Gulf region during the past two decades, had been a clear evidence of
the member states' determination to safeguard this bloc and confront
, 'l that could jeopardize this ties dictated by the supreme
interests and unity of destiny, " Sayyid Fahd said.


‘The unified stands by the GCC countries towards all issues and
international developments is a good evidence on the coherence and
strength of the GCC to forge ahead with enhancing its march in all
spheres,’ he added.


Replying to a question on his vision on the Supreme Council’s
meetings held in 1985, 1989, 1995 and 2001 which had been important
and crucial for co-operation among the GCC states and his vision on
the 29th GCC Summit, Sayyid Fahd said that “We in Oman do not prefer
to give description to the GCC summits, as everyone has its
particular significance and circumstances; wherein the GCC leaders
meet to support and develop the existing co-operation march and
tackle developments at the regional and international arenas. Being
part of this world, we affect and get affected by the events around
us, hence we should frequently get things evaluated," he added.
