GCC leaders begin closed-door session 2 Muscat,
Meanwhile, Kuwait's news agency "KUNA" reported from Muscat that
this is the second closed-door session within the two-day Gulf
Cooperation Council (GCC) 29th summit, chaired by Sultan Qaboos bin
Saeed of Oman.
During the session, KUNA said the GCC leaders will approve the draft
resolutions referred by the Foreign and Finance Ministers on a host
of political and economic issues.
An open-door session will take place later today in which the GCC
Secretary General Abdurrahman Al-Attiyah is expected to read the
final communique, to be followed by a news conference, KUNA added.
The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates,
Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
