Final communiqué of the 29th GCC summit issued 3 Muscat

The Supreme Council approved a mechanism to implement the resolutions
issued by the Supreme Council.

The Supreme Council approved the monetary union agreement and the
basic law of the monetary council and stressed the speedy approval of
the agreement to establish the monetary council which will complete
the technical requirements of the monetary union and prepare for the
establishment of the central bank and issuance of the unified
currency.

The Supreme Council reviewed the document on the Common GCC Market
and stressed its implementation to realize the maximum benefit for
the GCC citizens.

On negotiations with countries and economic groups, the Supreme
Council welcomed the signing of the free trade agreement between the
GCC and Singapore and hoped to complete the current negotiations to
sign free trade agreements with other countries and groups as soon as
possible.
