Arab League Finishes Preparations for Emergency Meeting

Riyadh, December 30, SPA -- the Arab League today finished all
primary preparations for the emergency meeting of Arab countries
foreign ministers, due to take place tomorrow in Cairo. An
explanatory detailed memorandum was also written to be presented to
the ministers discussing the latest developments on the Palestinian
arena and how the Arab countries would deal with this aggression and
its consequences both politically and humanitarianly.

In a statement, the Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Mousa
said today that "the ministers will thoroughly discuss the current
situation in Palestine and its political and humanitarian
consequences and work towards a collective Arab position on how to
deal with the continued Israeli aggression as well as discuss Qatar's
and Syria's calls for convening an emergency Arab Summit.
