Asiri hails UAE's role in Arab coalition, says no safe havens to rebellious militias

DUBAI, 11th October 2015 (WAM) - Spokesman of the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces Ahmed Asiri, has praised the played by the UAE in the coalition and the country's close cooperation with Saudi Arabia. "The efforts made by the UAE and Saudi Arabia as part of the coalition, are aimed at (restoring) security and stability in Yemen and the in the whole region," Asiri said in a statement published yesterday by 'Al Bayan' newspaper. He affirmed that the coalition would not provide safe havens to the rebellious militias in Yemen. Meanwhile, the Arab coalition-backed forces of the legitimate Yemeni government continued their march towards the port city of Mokha.
