'Emirates Martyrs' street signs unveiled in Aden

ADEN, 22nd October, 2015 (WAM) – The signs of a street in Aden, named after the Emirati martyrs, were unveiled yesterday by members of the 'Thank You Emirates of Benevolence' and 'Thank you the Kingdom of Firmness' campaign teams. The street, formerly known as the Corniche Street, was re-named Emirati Martyrs Street, in gratitude to the UAE soldiers who sacrificed their lives for Yemen and Aden. The unveiling ceremony coincided with a minute of silence observed by the people of the South, in respect for martyr Captain Hadef Humaid Al Shamsi, who was killed last Saturday in Aden.
