Palestinian Health Minister of Dismissed Government Thanks Saudi

Gaza, January 01, SPA -- The Palestinian Health Minister of the
dismissed government Dr Bassem Naim maintained that the airlifted
support of medical aid from Saudi Arabia to Palestinian Ministry of
health in Gaza largely contributed to meet the necessary requirements
for managing the injured.

He added that the unfair blockade imposed
on the Palestinian people affects the health sector in particular. It
hampered medical teams performing their duties due to lack of
potentialities.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Naim expressed his
deep thanks to the government and people of Saudi Arabia led by the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince Sultan bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation
and Inspector General, hoping that the emergent Saudi aid of medical
supplies and medicines would continue and be expedited through Rafah
outlet.
