Two Sri Lankans executed

Riyadh, January 02, SPA--Two Sri Lankans Sod Karn Tabi Fali and Miqra
Safira Motio were executed today in Houtah Bani Tamim Governorate in
Riyadh region for killing Sudanese Accountant at a company Mohammed
bin Abdulrahman Al-Jak Mohammed, said a statement released by the
Interior Ministry.
It pointed out that the culprits planned to kill the accountant while
he was coming out of a bank; noting that they got into his car, shot
him by a revolver and robbed his money.
The culprits were convicted by a court and the verdict was approved
by the cassation court and the supreme judicial council.
The statement reiterated the determination of the Saudi government on
enforcing law and order and severely punishing the criminals.
