New MRO agreement with GAL helps keep UAE Armed Forces in peak condition

DUBAI, 11th November 2015 (WAM) --- Global Aerospace Logistics LLC has been selected by the UAE's Advanced Military Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Centre, AMMROC to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the Joint Aviation Command (JAC) of the UAE Armed Forces. This agreement extends an eight-year relationship, enabling GAL to continue to provide the day-to-day maintenance service and support to the JAC. The partnership enables JAC to remain completely focused on the operations and deployment of the UAE's aircraft, while GAL continues to provide their MRO services. GAL, a subsidiary of Emirates Defence Industries Company (EDIC), the UAE's integrated defence manufacturing and services platform, is a key supplier of professional aerospace and defence maintenance services and support in the UAE. The signing of this agreement with AMMROC, also an EDIC subsidiary, enables both companies to maintain their routine and depot maintenance support to the UAE Joint Aviation Command. Speaking about the agreement, Abdulla Murad Al Balooshi, CEO of GAL, said, "This service support contract allows GAL to continue with our longstanding support in maintaining rotary and fixed wing aircraft to the Joint Aviation Command.
