Turkish Prime Minister describes his meeting with the King as important and fruitful
Riyadh, January 04, SPA--Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan
expressed his pleasure over his meeting with the Custodian of the Two
Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Saturday,
describing the meeting as important and fruitful as it came following
his tour of a number of countries in the Middle East.
In a press statement upon his departure from Riyadh for
Madinah on Saturday, he described Israel's striking of Gaza as a
humanitarian tragedy, calling on the world and world opinions to
shoulder their duties and responsibilities towards what is happening
in Gaza Strip.
Erdogan called on Israel to open the crossings for the
delivery of humanitarian assistance and medicines as well as the
transportation of the sick and injured from and to Gaza.
