HRH Premier praises National Guard role

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Commander of the National Guard Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa. Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa offered profound condolences to HRH Premier over the sad demise of his Advisor for Industrial and Oil Affairs, the late Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa. He recalled the virtues of the deceased and contributions to the kingdom's industrial and economic development while holding government post. He prayed to Allah Almighty to preserve HRH the Prime Minister and guide him on the right path for the best interests of Bahrain and its people. HRH Premier expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the National Guard Commander for his good feelings, praying to Allah Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace. HRH the Prime Minister reviewed with the National Guard Commander a number of local issues, lauding, in this regard, the role played by the National Guard, along with the security authorities, in reinforcing the pillars of security and stability across the kingdom, and thwarting attempts to undermine them. He reiterated the government's support to the dedicated efforts exerted by the National Guard Commander and affiliates, noting that their efforts are highly appreciated and commended by the government and the entire Bahraini people.
