RAP master's officers visit Constitutional Court

Manama, Dec. 31 (BNA): A delegation of Interior Ministry officers from Royal Academy of Police (RAP)'s master's programme recently conducted a visit to the Constitutional Court.
The delegation was received by Media & International Relations Director, Shaikh Khalid bin Isa Al Khalifa, who welcomed and conveyed to them the greetings from the Chairman of the Constitutional Court and his encouragement of such programmes and visits that enrich officers' cultural enlightenment and knowledge about the nature of the court's business and its expertise in constitutional judiciary.
The delegation toured the court premises and were briefed about the design and construction of the court premises and facilities which reflects the attentiveness on the part of the leadership to this landmark which is considered the highest judicial authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Shaikh Khalid bin Isa presented lectured to the delegation about the history of the judiciary in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the establishment of the modern civil state. He narrated the progress of the judiciary from the late 19th century up to the present prosperous reign of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa who patronized the official opening of the Constitutional Court on 18 April 2005.
Afterwards, the delegation listened to the Head of Registration Section, Ahmed Al-Aali, about the procedures of registration of constitutional lawsuits beginning with the methods of application submission and ending with the issuance of verdicts. Ahmed Al-Aali explained the terms and conditions prescribed by law for the purpose of acceptance of constitutional lawsuits.
In conclusion of their visit, the participating officers obtained various publications, including books and magazines. They expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Chairman of the Constitutional Court for the great attention they had received during their visit to the court which is considered the home of legitimacy and its stronghold.
The delegation was accompanied by the Head of Higher Studies and Academic Programme Supervisor, Dr. Ali Ismail Mujahid, and First Lieutenant Jassim Mahmoud Al Haram the Administrative Supervisor of the master's programme in RAP.
