EARTHQUAKE JOLTS KUPANG, NTT
Jakarta, Jan. 7 (ANTARA) - A tectonic earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, on Wednesday, at 11.44 am Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
The quake's epicenter was located at 9.28 degrees southern latitude and 123.56 degrees eastern longitude, around 98 km southwest of Kupang, at a depth of 79 km below sea level.

upheaval.
