Pyongyangites Vow to Carry Out Tasks Set Forth by Kim Jong Un in New Year Address
Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- A Pyongyang mass rally took place at Kim Il Sung Square Tuesday to carry through the tasks set forth by supreme leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.
Attending it were Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju, Kim Ki Nam and other senior officials of the party and state, vice-premiers and people from all walks of life in Pyongyang.
Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), said in a report that Kim Jong Un's New Year Address serves as a militant banner arousing all the service personnel and people to the general charge to glorify the 7th Congress of the WPK as one of victors and glory and bring about a new turn on all fronts for building a thriving nation, and maxim of life and struggle to be regarded as guidelines in the on-going general advance.
The reporter underscored the need for the officials, party members and other people in the capital city of Pyongyang to uphold the militant slogan "Let us usher in a golden age in building a thriving nation in this year when the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is to be held!" and take the lead in the nationwide campaign with ardent loyalty to the Party and extraordinary patriotic zeal, and fully demonstrate the spirit and mettle of Korea that is rushing towards final victory racing against time.
He called for dynamically advancing to glorify the significant year when the 7th Congress of the WPK will be held as a year of the great victory, full of conviction in sure victory and optimism, true to the New Year Address of Kim Jong Un.
