The Ministry of Commerce and Industry issues statement

Riyadh, January 06, SPA -- The Ministry of Commerce and Industry
stated that, based on results of tests which proved that Chinese milk
powder products produced by some dairy plants in China, is containing
the harmful "Melamine" material, the members of the Ministry's
Commercial Fraud Control Administration, had confiscated and
destructed Melamine-containing 3550 milk bags weighing 25 kg each.

The ministry called on companies and institutions, manufacturers and
importers of Chinese milk powder products to abide by regulations and
standards adopted so as not to be subject to penalties and
accountability.
