Prince Saud said, "The desired peace has not been and will not be
achieved by trying to impose normalization on the Arabs before the
achievement of withdrawal and peace, as if we should reward the
aggressor for its aggression emanating from a reverse logic that has
no seriousness and credibility whatsoever."

The Prince's speech was delivered on his behalf by Minister of State
for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar Obaid Madani at the inauguration of
Gulf Forum 2009 titled "Gulf-U.S.-Relations after Presidential
Elections" held here today under the Prince's patronage and
organized by Institute of Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Gulf Research Center in
Dubai.
