Inauguration of Gulf Forum 2009 "Gulf-U.S. Relations after

On the Iranian issue, the Secretary General of the GCC drew the
attention to the fact that the GCC countries always underscore the
importance of the good neighborhood relations and non-interference in
domestic affairs.

He reiterated the GCC call on Iran for ending its occupation of the
UAE-owned three islands.
He called for the adoption of the culture of dialogue and acceptance
of other sides' views and civilizations.
He reminded that the GCC countries have adopted such principles at
the United Nations high-level world meeting for dialogue which was
called to by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud last November.
