Nothing Can Shake Strong Will of DPRK: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- Nothing can shake the indomitable will and stamina of the army and people of the DPRK full of conviction of victory, keenly aware of the justice of their cause, whatever manifold difficulties and trials they may face due to the moves of the U.S. imperialists and its followers to stifle the DPRK, says Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an article. The U.S. imperialists' moves to provoke a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula were thwarted thanks to the united efforts of the army and people of the DPRK who cherished the revolutionary spirit of Mt. Paektu, the spirit of blizzards of Mt. Paektu, the article notes, and goes on: The army and people foiled the moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers to provoke a nuclear war in the spirit of fierce offensive, weathering all difficulties and hardships, and in the staunch fighting spirit of rising up no matter how often one may fall. It was none other than the U.S. and its followers who went frantic with sanctions and pressure on the DPRK till the end of last year. Entering this year the U.S. has openly disclosed its ambition to increase pressure on the DPRK through tightened triangular alliance involving the U.S., Japan and south Korea. But with nothing can the U.S. break the will and stamina of the army and people of the DPRK. -0-
