TWO INVESTORS READY TO ACQUIRE SARIJAYA
Jakarta, Jan 7 (ANTARA) - At least two investors are interested in acquiring PT Sarijaya Permana Sekuritas, the director of the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI), Erry Firmansyah, said here on Wednesday.
"At least two investors have contacted me to express their interest in taking over PT Sarijaya Permana Sekuritas," Firmansyah said.
He said he could not yet reveal the identities of the investors concerned. After all, the BEI was still concentrating on the settlement of Sarijaya's problems.
"We want to finish verifying it first so that the investors cannot yet implement their acquision plan now," he said.
In the meantime, chairman of Financial Institution and Capital Market Supervisory Board (Bapepam - LK) Fuad Rahmany said his side would not be involved too much in the takeover of PT Sarijaya Permana Sekuritas by new investors.
Bapepam will only stress on the qualification and professionalism of the management of PT Sarijaya Permana Sekuritas.
"I don't want to be involved to much in it because it constitutes a matter of business to business. We only want to focus on the selection process and leave it other problem to the capital market authorities," he said.
