PHOTO DISPLAY OF 100 FRENCH PHOTOGRAPHERS IN SURABAYA
Surabaya, Indonesia, Jan 7 (ANTARA) - Photos of 100 French photographers will be dispayed at the French cultural center gallery (CCCL) in Surabaya, East Java, and at the House of Sampoerna (HoS) on January 12-23, 2008.
"These are the photos of Nicephore Niepce, Jacques Henri Lartigue, Felix Nadar, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau, Bernard Faucon, Marcel Duchamp, Agnes Varda, Raymond Depardon, Georges Rousse and many others," CCCL press attache, Pramenda Krishna Airlangga said here Wednesday.
The exhibition with Sophie Schmit as curator, is a touring exhibition to Asian countries. In Indonesia it has been held in Jogjakarta (November 18-30, 2008), Jakarta (December 1-15, 2008), Bandung (December 16-23 2008) and Denpasar (December 26, 2008- January 8, 2009).
