The eleventh Saudi relief aircraft arrives in Areesh
Al-Areesh, Egypt, January 08, SPA -- The eleventh aircraft of the
Saudi relief airlift ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to help Palestinian brethren
arrived here today, said Dr. Khaled Al-Habashi, Head of the Saudi
medical relief field team.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Al-Habashi said that
the aircraft carried 12 tons of medicines and medical supplies.
He stated that Saudi Arabia so far provided about 132 tons of
supplies and medicines, and that this consignment will be transported
to Rafah outlet en route Gaza this evening.
Dr. Al-Habashi highly evaluated the direction, support and continuous
follow-up of the relief work in Areesh and Rafah of Prince Faisal bin
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Red Crescent
Commission.
