HRH Premier's interest in bolstering cooperation with India praised

Manama, Feb. 19 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan held a meeting with the Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Alok Kumar Sinha.
The ambassador expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for his constant keenness on developing the long-standing Bahraini-Indian relations in various fields.
He pointed out that the participation of Bahrain in the "Make-in-India Week", held in Mumbai from February 13 to 18, 2016, following directives from HRH the Prime Minister to the Labour and Social Development Minister to head the Kingdom’s delegation to the important event was a living proof of the Premier’s interest in bolstering cooperation with friendly India.
Ambassador Sinha paid tribute to the minister for his "valuable" participation in "Make-in-India Week", which, he said, contributed to enhancing the outstanding bilateral relations, and opened up new horizons for exchanging opinions and expertise in the industrial and labour fields, and achieving common interests.
The Labour and Social Development Minister asserted that the Bahraini government and people valued highly the outstanding relations with India, progressing steadily in all fields, especially in the labour and social protection ones.
The minister reviewed with the ambassador the results of the kingdom’s participation in the "Make-in-India Week", affirming the Government of Bahrain’s keen interest in availing of successful international experiences in the fields of industrial development and technological progress.
He also highlighted Bahrain’s support and pride in India’s scientific and technological progress.
