Shura Council Chairman praises Arab Parliament's role

Manama, Feb.29 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh has affirmed that the Arab parliaments speakers support the Arab Parliament in order to achieve the vision of their parliaments through undertaking the necessary laws and regulations and highlighted the Arab Parliament's strides on the regional and international levels. Al Saleh valued highly the Arab Parliament's stances in supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain as he participated in the third plenary session of the Arab Parliament held in Cairo, and pointed out that support of the parliament for the Arab issues consolidates the Arab solidarity and safeguard national security in terms of international relations and respect for countries' sovereignty. Al Saleh gave a speech in which he said that this conference gathered the Arab parliaments' speakers to put a parliamentary vision to face the current challenges, under the patronage of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. He praised the success of the conference, adding that it represents an opportunity to the Arab parliaments' speakers to consult and adopt a vision. He underscored the importance of solidarity at overcoming the current challenges facing the Arab world.
