Electrical power line towers set up in Marib

MARIB, Jan. 09 (Saba)- Marib governor Naji al-Zaidi was briefed on
the implementation of towers of a gas-powered electricity plant in
Safer area, east of the capital Sana'a.

The project's engineers clarified several steps of the project of
the electricity plant which will promote electric power in the
country and reduce the energy deficit.

Al-Zaidi praised double efforts of the project's engineers and
workers to complete the main line of the towers of the gas-powered
electricity plant in Safer to be launched during the first half of
2009.

The governor made it clear that the cost of the plant is about $21
million and the cost of the line towers is about $48 million.
