Youth and Sport Affairs Minister congratulates Muharraq Club

Manama, March 3 (BNA): Youth and Sport Affairs Minister Hesham bin Mohammed Al Jowder congratulated Muharraq Club, under the chairmanship of Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, on winning HM King Hamad Football Cup after defeating Riffa Club in the final match. He commended the royal patronage of the final match and HM the King's keenness to provide every support to Bahraini athletes and sport. He also lauded the attendance of the final match by Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his support to the youth and sport movement in Bahrain. The Youth and Sport Affairs Minister praised the high performance of Riffa Club throughout the match wishing the players every success in the next competitions. He also lauded the role of Bahrain Football Association, led by Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, in ensuring good organisation of the championship.
